So yesterday, I vlogged about summer vacation and my hope to balance constructive, enriching time with play time. And sometime between the time I vlogged and the time I passed out in bed - my children engaged in Extreme
First the fighting began over the Wii. DD wanted to play a princess game and DS wanted to play a racing game. Then, it was over cups. They both wanted the green cup for their lunch beverage. Then they fought over who got to play with the dog. (The dog, unamused, went to my bedroom and curled up in my pillows.) Then they fought about one being in the other's room. Then the other one retaliated and went to the other bedroom to just stand there and prove they could be in THAT room.
After a long day of non-stop fighting, I can understand why some moms over-schedule their kids. Today, I think we'll try the library. At least they will have to be quiet while we're there. ;P

I feel your pain! How about when they fight about fighting? LOL, my kids can turn anything into a fight. Yesterday I had to allow them to just work it out because I just couldn't handle it any longer. Earplugs, moms just need heavy duty earplugs! :)
How are you handling the fights? Punishments? Lost privileges? Duct tape?
I have a teen (14) that has argued with my 3&4 year olds. I quietly pointed out to her the immaturity of her actions. That word really got to her. She is learning to be the bigger person. I hear ya on the constant fighting.
Lizz - Duct tape: LOL! No, I've been trying to reason with each one, followed by time outs, and finally loss of privileges.
Sara - unfortunately, maturity is not a top priority for my 13 yo son. LOL ;P
I still fight like that with my brothers. LOL
