An Attitude of Gratitude

This week on Momma'Tudes, I'll be focusing on Toy Reviews as we head into the Black Friday - Cyber Monday sales and the (un)official kick off to the Holiday Shopping Season.. But BEFORE I bring you fabulous reviews of pretty cool toys, I want to take some time to share my gratitude with some pretty terrific women who have really supported me and helped me get to this point. (I apologize for all of the differing pic sizes - had to pull the pics and they aren't all the same size/resolution. If I were more like Michele, I'd have figured it out!)

Jen Hinton of JenHinton.com, Geek Chic Media, Chicks Who Chat, Geek Said, Chic Said, and The Classy Closet.  Jen was one of the very first ladies I met online.  I first became aware of her via her BlogTalkRadio Show.  Then I stalked followed her on Twitter.  Jen has given me advice, encouraged me, promoted me, and even helped me (via Geek Chic Media) with my Etsy Shop.  She's taught me that crap happens, but it's how you react to it that makes someone truly classy.  Jen is generous and caring and a genuinely nice gal. Cheryl Budge of TheBudgeBunch.com, CherylBudge.com and The Cheryl Budge Show.  Cheryl is the most amazing person I've met in a long time.  She's honest, funny, caring, and insightful.  Cheryl has really taught me that it's okay not to be perfect as long you appreciate all that you have, you'll be in a good place.  Cheryl is a tremendous mom and caring soul. And what's so awesome about Cheryl's blog, The Budge Bunch, is that it's a family affair.  She literally involves her entire family in it. Fiona Bryan of BanteringBlonde.com, (the soon-to-be re-launched) MomActive, MomActive on BlogTalkRadio and the upcoming MomActive Show on MomTV.  Fiona is a pint-sized powerhouse.  She keeps it real and me in stitches.  She's always honest and direct and definitely energetic.  Her driving force, to empower healthy minds & bodies of women everywhere, demonstrates in a nutshell what Fiona is all about.  She's been there to pump me up and also to tell me to pull up my big girl panties.  She's amazing. Michele McGraw of Scraps of My Geek Life and Get Your Geek On with Scrappin Michele's Digital Soul Hour on MomTV.  Michele, whom I've appropriately dubbed The Tech Goddess, makes Geeky cool!  Not only do she & I share a love of Glee and digital scrapbooking (I mean who DOESN'T love Glee?!) but we share a sense of humor.  She and I tend to have the same snarky sense of humor and often comment about something in the same way.  (She does have ONE flaw - she does not like the Twilight Saga.  But we'll let her slide.) Michele has taught me that anything is possible if you work at it.  She's funny, driven, and truly caring. Kelly Loubet of ChildhoodClothing.com and Sew Krazy on MomTV.  Kelly is one of those people that just radiates this goofy, positivity - there isn't anyone who doesn't smile when she's in the room.  She's genuine and fun.  And she's as talented as she is positive.  Although I can't sew a lick (well, not well anyway..) Jen of ABusyMommy.com. Jen is one of the busiest ladies I know.  She's  more quiet than the rest of us - but she's an amazing product reviewer.  Jen is fun, caring, and VERY pregnant! (LOL!) She always takes the time to be supportive no matter how much work she's got on her desk.  She's genuine and open.  And this girl really knows her way around a product review!  She's taught me alot about PR and about turning negatives into positives.
