Slice is the fifth album released by Five For Fighting. Another album in the tradition of intimate story telling and beautiful melodies, Slice, remains true to the formula that put Five For Fighting (John Ondrasik) on the Top 40 charts with other hits such as Superman, 100 Years, The Riddle, and The World. A masterful story-teller, Ondrasik, creates easy going music brimming with piano and subtle orchestrations which enhance his penetrating lyrics.

The first single released from Slice, Chances, has a more pop feel with an infectious melody and relatable lyrics about love.

I listened to this album numerous times and found each time, I felt so relaxed after listening to it. I enjoyed the storytelling as much if not more than the music itself. The way he is able to capture real life emotion and put it into words and pair it with music is, in a word, perfect. I really enjoyed this album. This is timeless music that will continue to be listened to years from now. This is not a contrived "hits" album. This is real music.
