The swim instructors let the parents be right there, so I&#39;ve never had this particular issue. My boys are older, 14 and 11 y/o and recently I met my son in the staff parking lot at his junior h.s. to take him to the doctor. A teacher neither one of us had seen before yelled at him to go around the other entrance. My kids were 3 &amp; 2 at the time and I was the only mom &quot;helicoptering&quot; around her kids in the crowd of young kids. The other parents were off visiting with each other. Kinda took pride that moment and my kids show the results each day in being self-assure, respectful and caring little ones.
